Please ensure that you read and follow our safety guidelines listed below before using the Comfy Cove Lounger:
- Direct supervision at all times is required when using the Comfy Cove Lounger
- Never leave your baby unattended in the Lounger
- To reduce the risk of SID's always place your baby on their back while in the Lounger
- Do not put pillows in the Lounger
- Always place the Lounger on a flat, firm and stable surface
- Do not place the Lounger on a surface where your baby can fall from
- The Lounger is recommended for babies 0-12 months
- Babies can roll and climb out of the Lounger
- Do not use the Lounger in a cot, bassinet or other enclosed area
- Keep the Lounger away from a wall or other vertical structure
- babies may become entrapped
- Do not use the Lounger if it is damaged
- Do not place the Lounger close to an open flame
- Always use with caution and trust your instincts!
Can you use the Lounger for sleeping or Co-Sleeping?
The Comfy Cove Lounger is a baby Lounger and therefore we do not recommend using them for sleeping or co-sleeping. The Comfy Cove Lounger stands by the safe sleep practices outlined on the red nose website. The safest place for a baby to sleep is in their own bassinet or cot, on a clean and firm mattress, placed on their back with their head and face uncovered. Is it machine washable?
Please follow the guide below for the Lounger, pillow and blanket washing instructions:
The Comfy Cove products can be spot cleaned as needed, however if you are really in need of a full wash, your Comfy Cove products can be machine washed:
- Fold Lounger or pillow in half
- Gentle cold machine wash
- Gentle liquid washing detergent
- Low Spin
- Gently squeeze any excess water
- Dry flat in the shade
- Do NOT wring dry
- Do NOT tumble dry or dry clean
- Do NOT bleach
Once your lounger or pillow is dry you may need to fluff it out by flipping it between your hands and give it a gentle reshape with your hands. Ensure that it is completely dry before use.
Can my baby roll out of the Lounger?
As your bub gets older, reaching the 4-6 month mark they will more than likely be rolling and wriggling which means they could be able to manoeuvre out of the Lounger as they continue to grow and get stronger. Please ensure that you do not place the Lounger on a surface that your baby can fall from. Always be in the same room as and supervise your baby while they are in the Comfy Cove Lounger.
Can my Baby still move freely?
Yes they can. The Lounger does not restrict any movement. Your bub can freely move their arms and legs while feeling supported by the padded sides.
